Ethnic Minorities Seek Equality Latino population increased 60’s and 70’s Mexican movement (Chicano) most active Caesar Chavez helped migrant farm workers UFW – United Farm Workers Asian Americans – compensation for WWII JACL – Japanese American Citizens League Hawaii granted statehood – helped self image
