Overview of Innovative Trainer Workshop “A Trainer’s View” How is the workshop organized? What are the overall objectives/aims? What are the resources provided to trainers? What is your role? What preparation is required? Where can I get additional assistance?

How is the workshop organized? The class-room based workshop is envisioned as a journey There are four modules linked to each other o Module 1: Your Inner Innovator o Module 2: Types of Innovation o Module 3: Mapping your Innovation RouteProcess o Module 4: Tooling up for a Personal Innovation Plan You can adapt the timing to your needs One day (recommended) Over several days (one module = ¼ day approx.)

What are the overall objectives/aims? Prepare YOURSELF, as a trainer, to guide others on this “innovation journey” Improve your own exposure and expertise in innovation Successfully complete leading a workshop and share feedback with the ITP community Provide follow-up to workshop attendees to mentor their actionable innovation plans

What are the resources provided to trainers? For each module PowerPoint slide set with speaker’s note Trainer’s Guide with more detailed guidance and suggestions, learning objectives, etc. Timing Sheet with tested slide-by-slide duration You, as the trainer, can – of course – modify any of the above components to your needs Available in English, French, Romanian and Spanish

What is your role as a workshop leader? More the “guide on the side” as a facilitator than the “sage on the stage” Present materials in an engaging manner Guide workshop attendees in the self- discovery learning process – especially through the interactive exercises in each module Meet learning objectives for all workshop atteendees – so they will be “Ready, Willing and Able” to do innovation
