LEARNING SESSIONS

Overview The Learning sessions will focus on: Movement Strengthening, Resource Mobilisation, Youth Employment, Youth Health, Civic Engagement, and Environment. Will bring Internal and External Perspectives Designed to engage participants and connect with the Group work process The learning sessions will evolve over the 4 day period

Learning Session – Day 1 This learning session will include up to 50 workshops. The Good Practices workshops will focus on movement strengthening, resource mobilisation, and youth empowerment – employment, health, civic engagement, and environment. Workshops will be offered in 90 minute segments. The workshops will include a range of skills development, programme sharing, case studies, leadership seminars. The workshops will include co-presentation by leaders from different Areas/national YMCAs/Local YMCAs/Partners.

Learning Session – Day 2 This session includes external speakers on the issues of employment, health, civic engagement, and environment. The speakers will bring perspectives on each issue, challenges, and opportunities for action on each topic. The panelists will make their presentations in plenary sessions

Learning Session – Day 3 This plenary session will focus on Scaling up for Collective Impact and Increased Visibility. This will include learning on the benefits of collective impact measurement. This session will include innovative approaches to shared learning and measurement and scaling of successful approaches.

Learning Session – Day 4 This session will focus on exploring the links of the learning and potential opportunities for OUR WAY This will be a plenary session moderated by a consultant. This day will bring together the learning of the three days and the results of the strategy discussion and the reflection process of the group work.
