Know the news.  Hurricane watch and warning are two different things but they are similar in ways.  Hurricane watch is wind conditions up to 74 MPH.(Miles per hour.) It will possibly be in your area in approximately 36 hours.  Hurricane Warning is a hurricane WILL be in your area in 24 hours. A hurricane has been spotted.
