Climate Average July temperature +26°С, shallow Azov sea easily gets warm. Average January temperature -6°С. Quite many sunny days throughout the year.

Azov sea features Very shallow down to -14m in the center. Very shallow at the beach zone. The salinity is low. Some sandy beaches are degradating. The water temperature in summer rises to +26°-28°С, days a year it is possible to swim. Many resorts for children.

Ecological situation Таganrog bay has got a very bad quality water due to industrial and agricultural sevage. It is almost impossible to swim here. Oil thin film on water damages the sea itself.
