Communication Four ways to ask assertively for what you want: State a fact or a feeling Describe what you’d like. If they say, “No”….. Ask for your second choice. If they still say, “No”…. Accept it gracefully Today, we are going to focus on the first two steps.
Class Activity The Asking Game Each student will receive a game card. There is a situation on each card. Come up with your own assertive response to that situation. Two people in class will have the same card. We will compare answers. Please be respectful and mature!
