Exam Logistics (Summer ‘15) Exam 1 will be held on Thursday, June 18, from 9:30-11:00 AM in CSE 122 (EDGE Studio “C”) for ALL GAINESVILLE AREA STUDENTS. Students residing outside the Gainesville area ONLY should make arrangements with their EDGE-approved proctor to take the exam NO EARLIER THAN 9:00 AM (EST) on Thursday, June 18, or anytime on Friday, June 19.

Ground Rules and Format You will have 90 minutes to work on the exam. No notes, books, calculators, cell phones, PDAs or other electronic devices (other than a watch) are allowed. Bring your UF student picture ID. All answers should be given in the spaces provided on the exam only. Problem format may be short answer, matching, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, proofs, etc. The point-value of each problem will be given. Please do NOT ask questions about problems during the exam. If you are unsure of what is being asked or what is meant, either skip the prob- lem or just use your best judgment

Exam Procedures for students who reside outside the Gainesville area Proctors will be instructed to schedule a SINGLE EXAM TIME for all students at each site. The exam will be available to proctors the day before it is administered on-campus. Make prior arrangements with your proctor to take the exam on Thursday (time TBD), or anytime Friday. Proctors should return electronic copies of completed exams via or FAX directly to the instructor ASAP after administration.

Make-Up Exam Policy Students are expected to make every effort to be present at the scheduled exam time. If missing the exam is unavoidable (e.g., due to sickness, accident, or other reasons beyond your control), please contact the instructor as far in advance as possible. Make-up exams may be administered orally. If it is not practical to administer a make-up exam before the end of the term, a course grade of "I" (incomplete) may be assigned.
