Welcome To Worship Lead by Year 4R

We light the candles to remind us that Jesus is the light of the world. Let’s begin our Worship. Our offering for God’s work is brought to the altar.

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

The biggest star in our Solar System is the Sun.

There are more stars in the universe than people living on Earth.

Psalm 147 v 4 He decides how many stars there should be. He gives each one of them a name.

The stars are close to heaven and they are divided into constellations.

God made the stars. He made each one unique.

Psalm 8 v 3 I think about the heavens. I think about what your fingers have created. I think about the moon and the stars that you have set in place.

The Wisemen and the shepherds followed a bright star to lead them to the place that Jesus was born.

Matthew 2 v 2 After Jesus was born, wise Men from the east came to Jerusalem. They asked, Where is the child who has been born to be king of the Jews? When we were in the east we saw his star. Now we have come to worship him.

Stars shine best at night and we can see them very clearly.

God gave stars a purpose.

Genesis 1 v 14, 15 God said, “Let there be lights in the huge space of the sky. Let them separate the day from the night. Let them serve as signs to mark off the seasons and the days and the years. Let them serve as lights in the huge space of the sky to give light on the earth.” And that’s exactly what happened.

Jesus is the Light of the World. The brightest star in the Universe for us to follow.

Psalm 19 verses 1, 2,3,4 The heavens declare the glory of God. The skies proclaim the work of His hands, Day after day they pour forth speech, Night after night they display their knowledge. Their voice goes out into all the earth. Their words go to the ends of the earth.
