What is a Veteran?  A veteran is someone who has served in the military in the past or who is serving in the military today.

What is a Veteran?  Veterans fought in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf war.

What is Veteran's Day?  Veteran’s Day is a holiday celebrated at the anniversary of World War 1.

What is Veteran's Day?  Men and women from the armed forces who fought for freedom are known as veterans.

What is Veteran's Day?  Many of them sacrifice themselves for our country.

Branches of the Military  Army  Air Force  Coast Guard  Marine  Navy

The Army  The army will fight the force.  They can get anywhere by air, sea, or land.

The Army  They can survive the wild for three days.  They can overtake any obstacle no matter how hard it is.

The Army The army is strong as a bear And as agile as a football player

The Army The army is as mighty as a knight and as smart as a lion

The Air Force The Air Force provides three main things: 1.Visual support for air 2.Fire support for air and ground 3.Transportation for air and ground and their equipment " He Who Controls The Air Controls The War"

The Coast Guard the protector of the sea like a lion in its jungle
