Presentation transcript:

The location of the Taiga spreads across North America, Europe, Asia, and to the south of the Arctic. I think that the Taiga is unique because its location stretches across the northern part of the world. Most of the Taiga is cold but there are a few places that are warm for the other animals that can’t live in the cold weather. Where is it located?

THE MAP OF THE TAIGA

WHAT LIVES THERE? Many animals live there, but the largest animal there, is the wolf. Wolves love to live in cold places and they can live in cold places because of their big coat of fur. Wolves like to eat birds, rabbits, squirrels, and when they’re really hungry they will eat lynxes, bears, moose, dear, and elk. Wolves in the taiga will live in caves and large holes. Many wolves like to travel in packs because it makes it easier to hunt and stay safe.

WHY IS MY BIOME IMPORTANT? MY BIOME IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT HAS A LOT OF TREES THAT MAKE ENOUGH OXYGEN TO REFRESH THE ATMOSPHERE. IT IS HOME TO LOTS OF ANIMALS AND PEOPLE TOO. THE TAIGA HAS MORE TREES THAN ALL THE RAINFORESTS COMBINED.
