It would be much better to be closer to per year. This problem is a result of poverty or individual problems that lead to a lack of motivation. (MDRC 2006). Executive Director, Board of education, Principle, Superintendent, Teachers, Counselors, Career Advisors, Books, Coursework for Future Goals, Guide books and references for Career Opportunities,, 6 classrooms, Counseling Room, Career Advising Room. students from 14 to 19 will participate in incorporates a school within a school, a program that helps students become more motivated and prepared for graduation and be shown careers outside of school that could be possible for them if college is not an option. the outputs will be a monthly count of how many students from 14 to 19 sign up and continue working and participate in the program The high percent of non interest in career goals, low attendance rate in schools which will be lower for those participating in the program as compared to those not participating. The percent of low attendance of minorities in post secondary schooling, decrease in lack of motivation, less drop out rates will be lower for those participating in the program as compared to those not participating. The community problem of dropping out of innner city schools will decline from the current amount of 27 per year closer to the desired lower level of per year with students being more motivated with their school work.

Logical Approach: Literature Review  James Kemple and Cynthia Willner discuss how low-performing high schools leaves many students, especially those who are less academically successful, feeling lost and anonymous and prevents the development of an atmosphere conducive to learning. This problem may be exacerbated for ninth-graders leaving behind the more family-like environment of middle school — a critical issue because students attending low-performing schools who do not complete ninth grade successfully and on schedule are at greatly heightened risk of dropping out altogether.  Maureen Lagana shows that the correlation between low income and school dropouts is especially important to note, because the number of children growing up in families who live below the poverty line is increasing. She focuses on the relationship of home life and school life and notes that children who are less likely to succeed are those from poverty homes and then the behavior begins to play out at home.  Eric Plutzer and Julianna Pacheco discuss the political cycle of poverty and how it affects educational attainment. Those who are more likely to be in inner city schools are those who face harder living conditions and those behavior problems which result from the living space should be addressed or helped within the school setting.

Evaluation Plan Interest: Are students who participate in career academies more likely to dropout of high school or not? Design: X O In program O Out program Binary variable (yes or no) Crosstab and Chi-square

My program did not work because it was not statistically significant because it was not equal or under the.05 level of significance. Those who were not in the program were more likely to drop out of high school, while those who were in the program were less likely to drop out. (no) (yes)

Regression This was not statistically significant because it was not equal to or under the.05 level of significance. Females and Parents being a high school graduate were not significant even though they were close to the.05 level of significance. The negative numbers showed that the program was ineffective when it came to these contributors.
