Geometry
Draw over two lines on your paper a couple inches apart. Draw a transversal through your two parallel lines. Find the measures of the eight angles created.
If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then each pair of corresponding angles is congruent.
3.1 Alternate Interior Angles- If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the alternate interior angles are congruent. 3.2 Consecutive Interior Angles- If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then each pair of consecutive interior angles is supplementary.
3.3 Alternate Exterior Angles- If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then each pair of alternate exterior angles is congruent.
Find the measure of the missing angles. 118°
Find x and y and then find the measures of the angles. 2x-10 x+15 3y+20
