NJHS October Meeting 2013

 Nothing lower than an “S” on your report card.  Your cumulative GPA must be 90%.  Major infractions of school rules will result in expulsion from NJHS. Requirements to remain in good standing:

 You can see which committee you are on by going to the website.  1) Monthly Activity Committee  2) Service Committee  3) Food Drive Committee  4) Pasta for Pennies Committee  5) Induction Committee Committees

 This group will meet once a month to come up with ideas or activities for the entire NJHS group.  Our first meeting will be Monday in my room (702).  The ideas and activities will correspond with our focus on: Leadership, Service, Character, Scholarship, and Citizenship. Monthly Activity

 The service committee will meet periodically to come up with service ideas.  The main job of the service committee is to communicate to the entire NJHS about service opportunities.  Our first meeting will be Wednesday in my room (702).  Your homework – be thinking of ways we can best communicate service opportunities to the entire group.  The Food Drive Committee will be leading our Food Drive which will take place Nov. 1 – Nov. 21.  This committee will meet towards the end of October to help plan this event. Food Drive Committee

 This committee will lead our Pasta for Pennies fundraiser during the 2 nd Semester.  This committee won’t meet until March to discuss this event. Pasta for Pennies Committee

 This committee will lead our Induction Ceremony at the end of the year to induct our new members.  This committee won’t meet until April/May. Induction Committee

 I will be making an announcement next week about T- shirt order forms. Be listening and check the website for more information.  They will be about $15.00  Once we have our T-Shirts, we will be taking a group picture. More info to come. T Shirts
