Objectives 2 Provide an overview of updated information and best practices. Assist district staff in preparing and implementing the requirements related to SES.

Supplemental Educational Services Free tutoring Low-income students, enrolled in a stage 2 or above campus To assist students in meeting state standards

SES Requirements 20% Reservation – School Choice – SES – 1% Parent Outreach SES Provider Contracts SES Parent Notification Letter SES enrollment start date

SES Requirements Identify/Refer potential providers to TCDSS Protect eligible SES student information (FERPA) Prompt payment for services rendered Resolve issues locally Plan to address parent concerns 7

SES Requirements SES enrollment form Student Learning Plan (SLP) – Parents that accept must be contacted a minimum of 3 times, 2 different ways Offer providers the opportunity to build Student Learning Plans (SLP) – Providers have the option to decline 8

New provider application Continuous enrollment 30 days of no-service drops Required pre- and post-assessments SES in subject most needed by student Parent choice of multiple modalities Maximum of 15 hours per week EZSES with parent information SES What’s New
