Tom Torlakson State Superintendent of Public Instruction 2 Purpose To provide information and to solicit input regarding a new approach to the identification of priorities and improvement activities for programs serving students with disabilities

Tom Torlakson State Superintendent of Public Instruction 3 Outcomes Participants will have –Reviewed the outline of a two year planning process –Received information about providing input into the SPP and APR –Received information about the SPDG and the new grant competition –Participated in discussions leading to the identification of revised priorities and improvement plans by reviewing multi-year data from: SPP/APR calculations SESR and VR monitoring findings Parent surveys and complaints data –Provided input about the overall direction and next steps in the improvement planning process
