Activity Look at the following slides, listen to the song and read the lyrics. Write down as many examples of rhyming words as you can.

Activity Break up into small groups – no more then four people Brainstorm 5 ideas on what rap songs could be about Choose one of the ideas you wrote down and write ten words that are associated with the idea. Next to each word, write a word that rhymes with it

Activity In your groups write a verse (8 sentences) for a rap song on the idea you brainstormed earlier. The words you wrote down will help you get started and to be used in your song. Remember: the rap cannot be about anyone at school and have no swearing.
