External Drivers MH identified as a priority in the strategic commissioning plans for the 3 Worcestershire CCGs Widely accepted that most MH problems should be managed in PC setting Commissioners reviewed current provision for mental health services in Primary Care New service specification with focus on developing a service that provides a ‘no wrong door’ approach to service users and health professionals Service delivered in collaboration with a variety of Voluntary and community based organisations Extended services and a choice of access

Worcestershire Healthy Minds Objectives Develop coherent pathways that: Enable  Early identification  Timely access to assessment  Seamless transition to the least burdensome and most appropriate intervention Support  Recovery  Return to a fulfilling life

WHM – remit A Countywide Primary Care Mental Health Service; People aged 16 and over; Experiencing common mental health problems e.g. stress, low mood and anxiety; Provide a range of information, interventions and therapy, both 1:1 and in a group format; Aim to help people improve their mental wellbeing through a range of support. All clinicians are professionally trained, registered and are receiving regular supervision.
