Classroom Norms Be on TIME (This means in seat when bell rings). Be at school Respect Me, classmates, your self, and school property. Bring materials everyday!!! Be prepared to learn and be engaged everyday.

How to enter the room Come in and go to your seat. Look at the board for the daily learning targets and activities. Get your materials out and get started on the warm up. You will be responsible for something everyday.

How to ask/respond to a question Raise your hand I will call on you Be prepared…I will also call people out. Wait time (Allow all to think before we discuss). Wait time 1 and Wait time 2

Restroom Use You are expected to use the restroom during class passing. There are expectations and emergencies. Do your best to take care of your business in-between classes. If an emergency comes about raise your hand.

Technology Cell phones can and may be out if they are being used for school purpose. IPODs should not be out. If I take up a phone you just made a $15 donation to Centennial. Make sure to get your computer login and acceptable use statements in.

Talking in Groups Talk so your group can hear you. Don’t talk so loudly that other groups are disrupted. Stay on topic Be ready to share with the whole class. This is a chance for you to get your opinion out. If you don’t know: ◦This is your chance to figure it out.

Coming Back to Class Discussion When I start talking it is time for your group to stop. I will say, “It is time to bring it back to class discussion.”

How to leave the Classroom Wait for my dismissal. The bell does not dismiss you!
