Fact file Luckily there are worldwide organizations who are trying to combat human trafficking. For example The OSCE (Organization for Security and Co—operation in Europe), Unicef or the Danish Centre against Human Trafficking. There are also a lot for non-governmental organizations around the world, who are trying to combat human trafficking in other ways. That could for instance be by demonstrating. A non-governmental organization could be Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking, NGO or Anti-Trafficking League Against Slavery (ATLAS) Task Force (Nevada).

Fact file 750 girls are trafficked from Nigeria to Mali every month. Most of them end up as sex- slaves. More than 900 girls are abducted or sold in the need of money every single year. Between 20 and 30 girls are taken away each day. Statistically is that 1 girl every hour per day.
