Response to Intervention at Campbell Ridge Elementary School Campbell County Schools Laura Clarke, M.Ed. Special Education Teacher

UDL Grant Project Focus on math intervention at grades K-5 Curriculum: Everyday Math and Number Worlds Who: General Education teachers in collaboration with Special Education support

UDL Grant Project What assessment tool? Everyday Math common assessments (as pre-assessments, which are part of the Everyday Math curriculum) When will groups be formed? After each assessment One teacher in each grade will be responsible for intervention

UDL Grant Project Groups will be flexible, based on student need, and will be reviewed by grade-level teachers and administration at weekly grade level meetings Intervention success will be analyzed using district common assessments, and students will either remain in intervention, or move out of intervention

UDL Grant Project When will intervention take place? CRES has committed to building wide, grade level scheduling which allows for a 90- minute math block, 30 of which are designed to be presented at a separate time, for intervention purposes One teacher per grade will be the intervention specialist

UDL Grant Project The Intervention Teacher in each grade will receive an Interwrite Board and digital projector, additional professional development and support from special education (our trained Number Worlds Interventionists) to create interventions
