What are some qualities of a DI Pupil? DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil

WHY? 1. Creativity! DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil Creative methods Solve problems Present how you solved them!

2. Independence! DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil WHY? No one else but your team can help.

BUT WAIT! DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil Independence does not mean You have to work in your team, especially since you’ve only got them to help you!

3. Teamwork! DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil WHY? Arguing with your teammates  gets nowhere Don’t listen  might miss good ideas!

4. Be Open to Advice! DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil WHY? Listen to the advice from others  correct your mistakes  do a better job!

5. Be Committed DI- Qualities of a DI Pupil WHY? DI requires hard work and preparation. Not committed  cannot finish task.

DI instant challenge You'll have to think on the spot and you will not know what you will be tested!

Types of challenges Hands on: You will have to use your hands and creativity to build something out of materials provided. Improvisational: It would be a skit and you will be given a scenario to work on. … Or a mix: You might have to use materials to create something and use it in your skit. Note: Every year it is different

Scoring 25% Based on criteria that vary 1.Teamwork 2.Creativity 3.Effectiveness 4.Overall 5.And more… Note: % on each criteria vary and there would be more criteria that vary depending.

Practice for challenge Teacher would pick a challenge and give it to us. We would be graded and the teacher would explain why we got these grades and the criteria. We would practice different instant challenges over the months before the competition.
