Poetry -> Sound Activity Instructions: Part One Copy the definitions of the literary terms. Read the poem silently. Look for examples of the sound devices. Once you have finished reading, check for understanding by discussing the poem. Do you understand it? Find examples of alliteration, assonance, consonance, and onomatopoeia.
