Grades 6-8 Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice

What is the purpose of the Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice Award ? to promote reading quality books to promote children's literature for children to honor authors

How do I participate in the Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice Award? Attend a public or private school in Pennsylvania (or a certified home study program) Read or listen to at least three (3) of the books on the selected reading list VOTE by March 15 th

What happens to my Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice vote? Your librarian sends your vote to the committee. Your vote is added to the votes from the rest of the state. The winning book/author in each category is announced at our annual librarians conference each spring.
