WHAT NOT TO DO… This is an example of what a PowerPoint slide should NOT look like. This slide has too many words and it is difficult for the audience to see and read all the words and it is NOT very eye-appealing at all. What do you think about all of these words? The background color and font of this slide are also an example of what a PowerPoint slide should NOT look like. The colors chosen make it difficult for the audience to see and read the words. During the presentation… ALWAYS STAND.
ALWAYS… Maintain EYE CONTACT with your audience.
To ensure everyone in the audience will hear you… SPEAK CLEARLY AND LOUDLY!
PACE YOUR PRESENTATION… in a timely manner.
EXPLAIN… each slide clearly to the audience.
WHAT NOT TO DO… Do NOT just read the words on the slides during your presentation--the audience can read the words themselves.
DO… Keep the audience engaged with phrases or numbers. Use additional notes while presenting to give more details. 50%

CONCLUDE YOUR PRESENTATION with… questions/quiz for your audience. an ending slide with your name/sources. a summary of the main points.
OBJECTIVES FOR AUDIENCES: ALWAYS show respect by paying attention and listening to all presenters. DO NOT cause any distractions during presentations.
REFRAIN from… talking to anyone during the presentation until you are asked to participate in a question or discussion session.
DO ASK… pertinent questions regarding the information presented AND MAKE… constructive, positive comments to the presenters.
