Shark Hunting By; Ashley Floyd Period: 1B

Sharks Sharks are a group of fish, with a full skeleton and a streamlined body plan. Sharks have olfactory senses, with some species able to detect as little as one part per million of blood in seawater.

Shark tails Shark tails is the important part of shark body anatomy which helps them to achieve fast swimming speeds. There are more than 300 different species of sharks in the ocean but they all share the same anatomy.

Sharks Habitats Sharks are able to adapt to new environment which is why they survive in water for a long time. The habitat depends on the type of species. Sharks are cold blooded so they need to live in water that is very cold. Most sharks are found in oceans.

Hunting Sharks uses their senses to hunt down prey. When feeding or attacking, the average shark will reach speeds upwards of twelve miles (19.25 kilometers) per hour. Sharks attack humans when they are confused or curious. If a shark sees a human splashing in the water, it may try to investigate, leading to an accidental attack.

Sharks food Most sharks are meat eaters and so they feed on other fish and even other sharks. Other sharks are non meat eaters which live off of small aquatic life including mollusks and clam.
