Music Music is a Universal Language. Music was used since antiquity. An important way of expression and communication. Youth are considered the most affected people by music.

Music influence on societies Music is used nowadays in bring people together. In Knowing knew cultures and civilizations. In fighting for causes and standing up to make difference.

Influence of music on youth

Music influence on students Listening to music during working Leads to:- Increase the work quality and quantity. Helps the brain to absorb more information and remember the information more easily. Helping children how to read. Develops students’ creativity. Has a therapeutic effect e.g (decrease distress and depression levels).

Kinds of music Many kinds of music :- Hip hop. Classical music. Jazz. Rock And roll. Rap. Different types of music have different influence on people

How can music benefit our children ? Playing a musical instrument helps the students to : Develop a more positive character and attitude. Become more discipline. Concentrate more. Become patient. Having more self-esteem. Overcoming personal fears and trust their personal abilities. Using music as a white back ground to Isolate the student from outer noises.

Conclusion Music education must be given a lot of attention and care not only in Egypt but also in the Arab world and even in the whole world. Music must play an important role in our educational system in order to improve it. Involving music in students lives is an effective way to motivate them and improve their self stem and confidence .
