NIGHTLY ROUTINES   Assignment Notebook Signed   Review Contents of Daily Take-Home Folder   Monitor Book Notes (nightly reading) and Sign   Practice Basic Math Facts (car, dinner, shopping)   Check for the Weekly Newsletter on Mondays!! ( )   Encourage your child to pack their bag at night / double check for all completed assignments and planner   Please review the contents of your child’s daily take- home folder and sign the assignment notebook and book note each night.

HOMEWORK POLICY   Homework is necessary for practicing skills that have been learned in class.   On the other hand, I don’t believe in overloading students with busy work!   In many cases homework is simply class work that was not finished.   Nightly Reading is always “something to do”   Daily Tutor Time   Missing Work = Strike /Homework Notification Form to be signed and returned

A MESSAGE FROM PARENTS CLUB  Dedicated to funding FUN activities for students.  Fundraisers – Entertainment Books  $3,048 raised last year  The profits from ALL fundraisers pays for transportation to fieldtrips!  How this effects 5 th grade:  Parents club paid for our admission to our J.A. Biztown Fieldtrip = $490.00!!
