What is Elink? The Jefferson County Schools Transportation Department uses software to store student information and assist in routing our buses. As a parent, how can I benefit from using ELink? ELink provides parents the opportunity to review information pertaining to your child including: Contact names and phone numbers the Transportation Department has on file for your child School bus stop location for your child Scheduled bus stop times for your child Communicate updates, pertaining to your child, to the transportation office Left click on your mouse when you are ready to proceed

What do I do if I see information for my child that is not up to date? After reviewing your child's information and finding there is information that needs updated, the parent can click on "Parent Communication", complete the form and include the information that needs to be updated. Clicking "Send" will your updates to the transportation office where the staff can update your child's information. Left click on your mouse when you are ready to proceed

When will School Bus Stop and Bus Stop Times be available? Beginning August 4, 2015, you can log in to ELink and see the scheduled pick up and drop times as well as bus number for your child for the coming school year. Left click on your mouse when you are ready to proceed

How can I sign up? Signing up is relatively easy: First, you must be registered as a user on the Jefferson County Schools Website. Go to for information on how to register as a user. Then, on the Elink tab, found on the transportation page, click on the link to take you to the survey or click on the following link: electsurvey/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=238 electsurvey/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=238 Complete the survey and click “Done” to submit. When will I be able to begin using ELink once I receive the login information? Parents will be able to use ELink immediately after receiving your log in information, to review basic student information for accuracy. Can anyone see my child’s information? No. Access to student data is only possible using valid log in credentials. As with any password protected information, it is always important to choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess. Special note: Responses to your submissions may take some time depending on several factors, such as number of requests and submitter's accuracy of information.
