-On your way to class tomorrow, pay close attention to your surroundings. Who do you see, what do you hear and smell, do you have any conversations, are there any incidents, etc. Even a five minute walk from one class to another can include hundreds of observations. As soon as the bell rings, you will... -You will write for 15 minutes -Write as fast as you can -Do not stop writing -No erasing (that’s stopping) -No talking or doing anything else (that’s stopping) -Cross out worlds words if they are wrong and you catch them right away -Leave a ______________ if you can’t remember the word -Don’t worry about grammar or spelling during this exercise -If you get stuck, then quickly look up and then begin writing about the first thing you see and what thoughts that brings to mind – you can always return to the original train of thought
