 High Expectations for ALL!  All students will be respectful, thoughtful, accepting, and considerate to others and self.  All students can develop an attitude of self-confidence, independent thinking and the desire to become a lifelong learner.  All Students need to be in charge of their learning. Encourage them to set their goals, work towards those goals and motivate themselves to make good learning choices

Volunteers If you would like to volunteer any time this year whether in our class room on a field trip you must fill out paperwork. New papers must be filled out each year! All the papers you need are on the school website I will be using Volunteer Spot this year. I am in the process of setting that up and will send an out when it is ready. Volunteers in the classroom will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30-10:30.

Homework Homework will be sent home every Friday and will be due the next Friday. We will start Sept. 25. Homework will include a math paper, a problem solving paper, fact practice and a reading strategy paper. An optional monthly reading log for students to track their reading practice will also be given out.

 Conferences will be taking place on December 2nd & December 3rd. Conference sign-up will happen online in late October.  Report card is aligned with the district and state curriculum standards. They reflect the standards using the following ratings: 4- Exceeds standards 3- Meets standards 2- Approaches standards 1 - Well below standards Second Grade Conferences and Report Cards
