ARDC Party Infrastructure Project Objective: – Improve discovery of research outputs and data – Persistently identify researchers and research organisations using public identifiers – Improve management of public researcher identity in the research sector – Enable distributed authority control
ARDC Party Infrastructure Project Stage 1: – Define research sector requirements for the Party Infrastructure – Enable exchange of RIF-CS party records with ANDS – End of phase report and options for delivering Phase 2 with recommendations from the Advisory group
ARDC Party Infrastructure Project Stage 2: – Adapt People Australia infrastructure to create ARDC Party Infrastructure – Modifications to identity matching service to cater for party data from the research sector – Changes Data Administration module to enables repository and data managers to manage the party data they contribute and to obtain assigned identifiers – Technical documentation and administrator's guide created
