Preparing for Class Report to class on time In the room BEFORE the bell chimes Bring a notebook, textbook, pen/pencil Be seated in your ASSIGNED seat Have a WRITTEN PASS if you are late, or leaving to go somewhere during class Put any homework in THE BOX (my desk)

During Classroom Activities… Only one person speaks at a time Pay attention to the matter at hand If you have a question….. RAISE YOUR HAND & be patient Please do not interrupt the speaker I will call on you; it may take a few seconds Listen to any other student questions

Assignments & Grading Due date is written on each assignment 10 points deducted for each day late A score of ZERO after 5 days late NOTE: Please refer to guidebook policies for excused absences & late assignments.

Discipline Policy Disciplinary action will be discussed AFTER class, not DURING class. If you’re asked to stay after class, don’t leave the room (assignment doubled !) Disciplinary assignments will be… 1. Verbal Warnings 2. Written Essays 3. Detention 4. Office Referral
