Germany wanted back what they had lost in WW1 and they also wanted revenge. Appeasement- Great Britain and France gave Hitler land without fighting for it. Hitler was racist; he invaded countries simply to kill the Jews living there.

World War 2 lasted from the 1930’s to the 1940’s.

World War 2 took place in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Key People- Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Hidiki Tojo, Heinrich Himmler, and the Jews. Key Places- Normandy, Pearl Harbor, Phillipines, Berlin, Dunkirk, and London. Key Events- D-day, Battle of Midway, Hitler invades Poland, Stalingrad, The Holocaust, and Anti-semitism. Key Technology- radar, tanks, ballistic missiles, jet fighters, small arms, and anti-tank rifles.
