New Business – Program Mission Statement  Whether used for business, industry, education or entertainment, computer graphics are utilized in everyone’s daily lives. The computer graphics technology program is designed to prepare students for employment as graphics technicians. Students work in state of the art computer labs developing their graphic skills, techniques and concepts through individual and team based projects. Graduates of this program will work to as graphics practitioners to produce video games, animations, technical illustrations, multimedia products, marketing and advertising materials, engineering drawings, renderings, technical manuals, photography and websites.  Students can choose to generalize in computer graphics technology or develop more in-depth knowledge and skills in graphic design, or design technologies.

New Business – Program Scorecard Division scorecards  The college's senior leadership team also has scorecards for each area they lead, with KPIs that align with the college scorecard. Strategic Goal  Promote an environment of excellence and innovation. Key Performance Indicator  KCC experience met students' expectations. Computer Graphic Technology Program Key Performance Indicator  The Student Evaluation of Instruction for all program instructors will be monitored.  The sections: About the Professor and About the Course/materials will be tracked for each class. Goal:  All instructors will score 4.5 or higher to promote excellence.  College Average:  About the professor av.=4.8  About the course/materials av.=4.61

Computer Graphic Technology Program Key Performance Indicator  The Professor John Bordeau YouTube Channel will be an innovation used to promote learning. Goal:  500 videos viewed. The views will be tracked in the Analytics in the YouTube Channel via Instructure (Canvas). Also, each student subscription to the channel will count as 100 views.

Includes students earning grades of A, B, C, D, F, P (proficiency or S. Computation of data: Number of students enrolled- (number of W, WX, X, D) divided by Total number of course enrollees. Goal:  The Computer Graphic Technology Prefix COGT classes will average 91 % or higher.
