 Google Earth – Free › This is the free version that has basic features and allows one to view the Earth and all of its wonders  Google Earth – Pro › This version is for businesses that want to see trends and business markets across the globe

 As a tool for education Google Earth is limited to only a few subjects › History › Geography › Government

 Geography teachers could teach for an entire school year just using Google Earth  This app allows them to show students what geographical forms actually look like  This help to get rid of old and boring pictures of landforms and allows students the ability to see them on Earth

 This app could be a useful tool for government teachers  It would not teach students about government but street view could allow them to see government buildings

 As a history teacher Google Earth has endless possibilities › Students could actually use Google Earth to visit places where important events in history took place › Teachers could use this app to visit the Great Pyramids or The Gettysburg War fields  Teachers could also give Google Earth Tours which would allow them to take students on a virtual journey through important places in history › An example of this could be going on a tour of the important war memorials of the American Revolutionary war

 Google Earth is a fascinating tool that can be used in various different ways  It may not be seen as an educational tool but it can be used as such  It is a tool that history teachers and absolutely every geography teacher should use
