Micro – CHP Trial  Partners subsidise installation costs.  NIHE dwellings – partners supply CHP unit but NIHE pay installation costs.  Housing Association and Private Sector installations also subsidised by partners.  Monitoring Costs.  Training Costs.  Contingency Fund.

Micro – CHP Trial (NI)  Identification of NIHE houses.  Heat Loss Calculations.  Marketing campaign for properties within other tenures, including media coverage.  Training of NIHE Contractors.  Tender for contractors within other tenures followed by training.

Progress to date  7 Housing Executive installations complete.  3 Housing Executive completions due shortly.  Many owner-occupiers interested – not all dwellings suitable.  Housing Associations interest building.  Private developers – none to date.

Issues  Compatibility with prepayment meters.  Working in partnership.  Installation manual.  Suitability of dwellings and tenants.  Logistics.
