Adjectives An adjective is a word that tells about a person, place or thing. Examples: happy boy big yard new wagon little duck fast jet

Adjectives About Senses Some adjectives tell how things look and sound. Examples: colorful loud clean Some adjectives tell how things smell, taste and feel. sweet soft salty

Adjectives About Weather Some adjectives tell about the weather. Examples: cloudy sunny rainy snowy windy
