PAS Overview Performance Accountability System (PAS) was developed by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) to promote quality and excellence in technical education and training.
PAS Purpose Evaluates the institutional effectiveness and efficiency of the programs offered by the technical colleges.

Level I Conducted annually by all program groups at each campus. A program group may contain degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit within the same subject area. Level I consists of four compliance measures based on TCSG program standards and college wide measures.

Program Assessment Cont. College Wide Measures (CS-1; CS-4; & CS-7) are answered once for the college as a whole. Program Measures (CS-2; CS-3; CS-5; & CS-6) are answered once for every program group
Program Assessment Program groups which do not meet all seven mandatory compliance measures must submit a Standard Corrective Action Plan

Program Assessment All deficiencies in key performance indicators will require a Performance Corrective Action Plan.
Level II Level 2 This category is based on performance on the six key indicator measures. Any program group with four or more deficiencies on key performance indicators for a given year, must complete a Performance Improvement Plan.
Community Needs Assessment Intended to assist each school in determining its future needs for – program improvement – modification – phase-out – expansion – start-up
Community Needs Assessment The assessment should include but not be limited to the following: – Labor Market Analysis – Employment Demand Survey – Program Advisory Committee Recommendations
