Describe the problem you want to solve. Describe the problem you want to solve. **This step is required. Our problem is that people constantly loose their pencils. So we came up with the Clipsol. You can hook it to your shirt, your pants pocket or your belt you can even hook it where ever you like.

List some possible ways to solve your problem. Here are some possible ways that we can solve the problem… **This step is required. You can buy a mechanical pencil, but if you don’t like them you can buy the Clipsol.

Draw pictures and diagrams to show your invention and how it might work. **This step is required.

Build your prototype. Write down each step so that you will remember exactly how you built your model.  1 st you get a pencil  2 nd you wrap the rubber band around the silver part of the pencil  3 rd you clip on a paper clip to the rubber band  4 th you can design the pencil the way you want to

Perform some experiments to find out how well your prototype works. Write down the results of each test. We did some “ tests “ on our prototype. Our classmates said that they loved the Clipsol. They said they couldn’t even tell it was there.People: Do you think the product will work? Do you think people will buy our product? Do you like the product? Would you buy our product? EmilyNo.Yes.Yes.Yes. NickYes.Yes.Yes.Yes. JoeYes.Yes.Yes.Yes.

How can you improve your prototype? Ways we can improve our prototype are decorate it, or make it more attractive.

Give your invention a name and explain why people should buy it. **This step is required. We named our prototype Clipsol. People should buy our product because I could help them not to loose their pencils.
