Presentation transcript:

Stage 1 Excursion to the Sydney Aquarium

 Fish breathe oxygen through their gills and use their fins to help them swim.  Fish lay eggs in the water and swim away. Some other sea creatures eat their eggs. Most fish do not make nests.  Most fish have hard scales.

 Sharks are endangered. They have powerful jaws.  Their babies are called pups.

 Seahorses have long tails.  They have spiny backs to scare away other predators.

 At the playground I played on the flying fox and the mini slides.  I had a go at the sand scooper. I had a lot of fun on the day.

 The flying fox was fun and my favourite part was going fast on it.

 At the mini slide I slid down very fast and my hair went flying.

 The sand digger was very hard to pull up with all of the sand inside.
