ECO-CLUB IN ASSOCIATION WITH RURAL TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CLUB PRESENTS Organisers:-Rohan & Harnav ECO -SOLVER

Objective  In our everyday life, we come across mismanagement of waste,so why not come up with a plan for waste management system to clean our society and utilise the waste in a sustainable way. Here we give you an opportunity to share your ideas and concepts regarding management of solid waste.

Problem statement To arrive with a presentation that emphasise on the recycle, reuse and disposal of the waste generated in the city. The presentation should devise environmentally sustainable choices for waste management in urban areas. The model should account for both collection a You should consider problems prevailing in Patna. You can have your own standard assumption as:- Total Population:-14 Lakh Total waste: metric tonne (Biodegradable 60% & Non- Biodegradable 40%)

rules  Each group can consists of at most three members.  The presentation should be relevant with the problem statement.  The presentation should not consist of more than 20 slides.  Your presentation should be made considering Patna as the ground for change.

Judging criteria There are two rounds. ROUND 1: Qualifying Round- Assessment in this round is done on the basis of:  practical relevancy of the proposed idea.  innovation and uniqueness of the idea proposed.  plan shall be supported by statistical facts and figures.  this round will be judged by the eco club.

Round 2: Presentation round  Participants shortlisted in virtual round will present their slides before faculty of IIT Patna.  The winner of the event will be solely decided on the basis of this round so prepare yourself in the best way you can..
