CANADIAN COAST GUARD AUXILIARY - PACIFIC Delegation Delegation is a fundamental aspect of a Leader or Manager’s job; It is transferring a task or procedure to someone else! In this context, person delegating can be the coxswain on the vessel, the training officer, or the station leader.

CANADIAN COAST GUARD AUXILIARY - PACIFIC Delegation In a rescue vessel on a mission, it may the delegation of authority to an experienced crew, to take charge of an operation ashore, allowing the Coxswain to concentrate on the safety of the vessel, and rescue communications.
