Tasty Ice cream HAVE YOU EVER EATEN. SEAWEED?MANY SEAWEEDS, SUCH AS WAKAME,DULSE KOMBU AND ARAME,ARE EATEN AS VEGETABLES OR IN SOUPS. SOME SEAWEEDS PRODUCE A JELLY CALLED AGAR,WHICH IS USED TO MAKE ICE CREAM!

Sea anemones If you explore a rock shore at low tide ,you may some times find small, jelly. like babbly attached to rocks. These are probably sea anemones. Kulsoom IV C

Marine Life Sea Weeds Seaweeds are also algae. Seaweeds grow in many different shapes sizes and colours even red and brown seaweeds contain some of the green chlorophyll that plants need for photosynthesis plants cannot survive in the darkness of deep water so seaweeds and other algae only grow in shallow water in the middle of the Atlantic ocean there’s a huge floating mass of a seaweeds called Sargasso the place where the Sargasso grows is called the Sargasso sea sailors avoid the Sargasso sea in case their boats get stuck in the tangled weeds. Zainab lll A

Tiny plants and animals The plankton species that live in the sea are different from those that live in fresh water most of the plankton in the sea including many kinds of algae are plants called phytoplankton animal plankton are called zooplankton some zooplankton are so small you need a microscope to see them other zooplankton that live in the sea are the larvae of larger animals such as crabs barnacles or squid jellyfish are the largest kind of zooplankton in the sea some jellyfish are nearly two meters wide Shaima lV B

Sea and Oceans Difference What’s the difference between a sea and an ocean? People often use the words sea ocean to mean the same thing . that’s fine , but to a scientist ,seas are just part of an ocean. The parts that are nearest to land. Ali Noor IV B
