Bell Ringer 3 Minutes  How does history help us understand relationships between societies past and modern?

Aim  I will be able to close read through the use of inquiry to understand how the United States treated Native Americans and sought to erase their culture.

CHAMPS  C=conversation, we will be sharing out during group discussion, be RESPECTFUL do not speak over one another and be an active listener.  H=help, please raise your hand  A=activity, reading, listening, annotating and discussing the reading.  M=movement, we are not.  P=participation means no heads down, no cell phones, we are reading and writing.
