Ancient China By: Brandon

Inventions Chinese people from Ancient times were scientifically advanced. The compass is one of the Chinese inventions that changed the world. Gunpowder is another important Chinese invention without it modern day guns would be different.

Yin Yang Yin and Yang are known as complete opposites. Yang was bright and male and Yin was dark and female. If there is an element there is an opposite and Yin Yang are those opposites.

Dragons The dragon itself symbolizes the Chinese race. Dragons are believed to bring good fortune. Dragons also symbolize power and excellence.

The Great Wall of China The Great Wall of China was built to ward off attacking forces. Some people that helped build the wall died and were buried in the wall. The wall extends for more than 1000 miles!
