Teaching Strategies Instructional methods for learning styles
There are many different teaching/instructional strategies that can be used in a classroom to cater to the different learning styles. Here are a few examples.
Kinesthetic/Tactile Learners Require a more “hands-on” instructional method. Take for example this Elementary Spelling Lesson. Notice how a ball is being passed around which engages the students into constant movement while learning.
Visual Learners Have to be able to actually “see” whatever lesson is being taught Take for example this Middle School Math lesson It is a PowerPoint Presentation!!!
Auditory Learners Require a lesson that they could actually hear or listen to. Take for example this High School English Lesson. Students listen to a poem being read from a CD.
