AFFLIATIONS  Panday Group has chosen to affiliate itself with four different car companies, Ford Canada, Porsche, Lincoln & Audi.  The partnership between Panday Group and all four car companies offers an advantage pricing on vehicles in Ontario, for clients who choose to work with Panday Construction when renovating or building a new home.  The affiliation is not only used to promote the advantage pricing that Panday offers in Ontario when working with them, but each company advertises the image of the Panday company itself.

AFFILIATIONS CONTD …  Ford & Audi are recognized as the reliable car companies and their partnership with Panday Group demonstrates their trust in reliable customer satisfaction when it comes to choosing the Panday Group as a partner and home building company.  The affiliations with Ford & Audi are directed towards clients in the field of construction such as contractors, who would be interested in a Super Duty Ford truck that can help them get through messy job sites. Ford Lincoln, is for outside of the construction world and for families looking for a reliable car they know they can trust.  The affiliation with Porsche and Audi is recognized as Panday’s “interior design” side of their company. Both cars are considered sleek and classy, which reflects the work Panday’s interior designers do. Porsche & Audi with their new designs such as the Porsche Boxster and Audi S6 introduce a new modern way of driving, giving their customer the feeling of “real life,” and Panday therefore, this reflects the Panday interior design because they are trying to introduce new “modern,” and “fresh” ideas.

ASSIGNMENT ONE  As my first assignment and for Mr. Panday to take a look at my work, my first assignment was to create a news letter that would be handed out within the office and to people outside of the office.  It was Panday’s first ever news letter and it was based around the new affiliations Panday had with Ford Canada, as well as the start to further introducing their company to the Toronto district

INTERNSHIP OFFER Dear Riali Goddard: I am pleased to offer you an internship as the Social Media/Public Relations Intern for a period of one school semester. ASSIGNMENT TWO: PRESS RELEASE  Press release is based around introducing a younger generation into the field of construction, and how students new ideas are looking to be embraced.  The press release also looked into Panday Group itself, introducing itself for the first time, and making itself more well known for future clients such as; real-estate agents, contractors and homeowners.  The press release was given to a newspaper called Indian Abroad 

TUMBLR Panday Group is looking for a new way to reach out to a younger audience, but also still intrigue their old audience in a new way The TUMBLR account was not only used to promote the company itself, but also keep the Panday followers interested, and each Friday it was my job to post new articles, videos or upcoming events. Each season there was a segment, so far there was one for Fall/ Halloween and Winter/ Christmas, each segment introduced ideas that people could use to decorate their houses for the upcoming events, DIY craft ideas, and renovation ideas for the upcoming cold weather TUMBLR is also used to fully introduce the advantage pricing of Ford Canada, Audi, Porsche and Lincoln, as well as their company affiliation.

PINTEREST Spreadable media, "the process by which a large number of people make active decisions to pass along an image, text, song or bit of video” (Savage 2012). Spreadable media is taken into consideration when the PINTEREST account was created for Panday Group PINTEREST allowed Panday to create different “boards” that related to interior design, architecture, and their affiliations People are able to “follow” Panday’s account and can look through their work (construction, homes, interior design) as well as from other people’s boards and as long as Panday keeps their boards interesting more people who are possibly looking for new renovations ideas, can take these ideas or the work Panday has previously done and choose to working with Panday when looking to renovate.

FACEBOOK Facebook is one of the main social networking sites used by Panday Group, one which an account was already created for before I started as the social media intern The Panday Group Construction page has 87 “Likes” as of now The page is used highly to keep the Panday followers up to date with recent finished projects that Panday has done and as well as news that happens within the Toronto district Since Panday has most of it followers on Facebook, much of what I did not TUMBLR and PINTEREST was connected directly to the Facebook page and therefore, would be able to update followers automatically on news, and get them interested in following Panday’s different accounts

OVERALL EXPERIENCE  Overall I had an excellent work experience with Panday Group  I really enjoyed having Mr. Panday as an internship boss  The company itself is very dedicated to it’s work and providing 100% excellent customer satisfaction, which is something I myself highly value  I learned important audience skills, one’s that I will be able to use in the future  Have come to the conclusion that social networking is a highly effective way to reach out to an audience and gain their attention
