Mentor Attend required mentor training Contact with new IDS library Travel to the IDS library for one to two days of intensive on-site mentoring Offer support to new library via phone, , etc. Share experiences, tips and tricks

Nylink Conduct Needs Assessment of new IDS library Create a webpage about the mentoring program Assist in the creation of training materials, tool kits, etc. Provide training
Needs Assessment Evaluation of where the new library is at –Conducted at the beginning of the process –Assist in the matching of mentors and libraries Phone conversation –Which OCLC ILL features do you currently use? –How much experience do you and your staff have with ILL? Results are shared with mentors –Guide the mentor on areas to focus on

Timeline Cont. Mentor visits new library 1-2 weeks after borrowing is activated –Cover modules 1-4 or as needed Mentor advises coaches as necessary Mentor visits library second time Stats Webinar
