Update Garmin for Dispatch Functionality Your Garmin unit comes with preloaded firmware that will need to be updated to function properly with our Dispatching & Messaging features. You will need to download the free WebUpdater software tool from Garmin to your PC. To download Garmin’s WebUpdater software, visit Once downloaded on your PC, use the supplied USB cable provided by Garmin to install the latest firmware for your particular Nuvi or Dezl device. Connect your Garmin device to your PC and run WebUpdater. Once the firmware is updated, simply disconnect USB cable and you’re set to install Garmin’s in vehicles. Assure the latest firmware has been loaded onto your Garmin device(s) by connecting to GPS device installed in vehicles. If the Dispatch screen (right image) appears the update was successful! First things first…

Select Dispatch

Today’s Orders from PestPac are listed in order

Select 1 st Order and Click “Go!” “Go!” will provide turn-by-turn directions to stop. “Go” will also show “En Route” in PestPac for staff to know Tech’s status.

Route Calculates…

“Edit Stop” to show “On-Site” or update Status if not able to service account Click on Edit Stop to update Status of order.

After Arriving at Customer site, “Mark as Done” “Mark as Done” to let people in the office know that you’re “On-Site”, that you are at the customer’s location.

Or choose a different status…

Informs office if you did not service or… Driver Status info also alerts staff of Tech or Job status in PestPac

Return to Dispatch Screen

To start driving to next stop…

Job Shows as Completed, Select Next Job

Select 2 nd Order and Click “Go!” “Go!” will automatically alert “Service Complete” on the previous job while showing “En Route” to the new job.
