The defining constant of life is change. Our society and communities change. Our knowledge and how we acquire it changes. Our relationship with one other and with our environment changes. Anticipating, understanding and managing change as a positive force are hallmarks of a 21st century institution. This is why ASU values entrepreneurship and innovation (E+I). We want our faculty and students to be creative problem-solvers and designers of solutions that adapt and endure. At ASU, entrepreneurship is a mindset and a skillset. It is a way of living characterized by endless learning and making big ideas happen. E+I Team Values: E+I is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a small team of mission-driven colleagues. We value creative thinkers and proactive doers who bring new ideas from any sector and apply it to the world of higher education. We are action oriented. We are culture changers. We are collaborative. We love working with people who are adaptable and can execute with integrity at the highest level while having fun in the process. E+I Team Mission: On campus, the E+I team supports the development of entrepreneurial mindsets and skillsets by providing services to students and faculty who want to scale their ideas. In the community, we support the advancement of our entrepreneurial ecosystem. ASU Values Entrepreneurship

“I have been an entrepreneur since I was 10. As new scientific technologies continue to surface, I want to be involved in both researching and bringing those technologies to market. With my ability to be innovative and communicate effectively I will be able to create a stronger connection between entrepreneurship and science and contribute to the ASU community.” – Jacob, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and Barrett, the Honors College class of 2019
